The recordings were done with live musicians. A drummer, guitar player, bass player and keyboardist, and wind instruments. Saxophone, shehnai, zorna and ney, and of course the Shulman duo working their electronic magic on computers and synthesizers. It presents unique sound textures combining the usual Shulman incredible compositions with ethnic elements, psychedelic rock, jazz and other eclectic musical touches.

This release of Chromosome 'DMT Cowboys' is the 6th album by Anders Nilsson and Linus Eriksson.
A journey through their wide range of creative abilities. The intense touring Summer 2006 peaking with the Boom Festival inspired these psychedelic mind benders to forget an escalation in trance.
Fans worldwide know the unique sound from Scandinavia. The vibrating Ambient in Soul Surfer, hypnotic sound of Andromeda, into the magic full on frequencies by Chromosome.
A creative musical environment in youth and music design studies led to a first release at legendary Spiral Trax and further on Transient. After followed the famous Andromeda albums that where sailing best seller charts all over and created big stirs in the trance scene. Influences as P Floyd, Simon Posford, BT, Depeche and Motorcycle are clearly heard on earlier works as well as here. Also the world of Tryptamines are part of the essence behind this album.
The Idea took form with the fellow partner Linus Eriksson who is 26 years old and previously released under Endorian. His extraordinary experience with music and productions led to joining Chromosome in 2006 and together produce this mystical ethnobotanical piece of wave constellation. Stefanos is the music producer & composer of Zen Garden. He was born in Athens in 1979. He started playing the guitar at the age of 10 and he is self-taught. When he was 15 years old, he joined ‘Vice Human’ as a guitar player and he participated in their live shows and CD- LP recordings. Between 1995 and 1998 he played with several groups such as Glower, Agnoun, On-Off and others.
Since 2000 he p...ractices on music technology (samplers, synthesizers, music production) and instrument learning and experimentation (percussion, strings, piano).
In 2003, Stefanos orchestrates and produces the “Mayas to the Atlantis” record by Tom Baton Kee (Native American flute Keeper), with whom he also performs live touring in Greece (percussion and guitar), as part of the Cultural Olympics.
Between 2004 and 2006 he participates in the (IEK) - college AKMI Music Technology competition and connected with PLANETWORKS record company.
Soon after that, collaborations with Dj Viton, Dallas, Mike& Stef, and others follow.
His love for theatre music and live orchestration begun in 2006, when he worked for the orchestration, sampling and sound design of the “Persians”, the famous ancient Greek drama by Aeschylos, presented by the National Theatre of Greece (directed by Lydia Koniordou, music by Takis Farazis). He followed the play all the way from Epidaurus ancient Theatre to the tour around Greece and New York (New York City Centre), playing live samples, percussions and strings.
In 2006-2007 he composes, orchestrates and produces music for the“Deva” Dance-Theatre performance,. directed by Silvia Macchi, of the Synergion of Arts dance group, in collaboration with Roxani Garefalaki. Together they also scored the soundtracks of short films 'Gaia' and 'Long Distance Drunk' (by Post Bukowski Project), the parts of the music orchestration for the documentary Chania/Ecotourism (directed by V. Kalaitzis).
Since 2007 he has also been collaborating with “Taki Street Percussion” music group and the “Afro-Cretan” Band by L. Grigoriou , doing sampling, production, playing guitars and keyboards in their live shows around Greece.
Ιn 2008 he composes music for the dance theatre production “Facts and Faculties” (produced by “Fygein Adynaton”, choreographed by Natasa Aretha).
In 2009 he cooperates with Takis Farazis in writing the music for the short film “of memory”, a film about the work of sculptor Venia Dimitrakopoulou (directed by F. Koutsaftis). In the same year he works as a sound engineer for the Athens and Epidaurus Festival in the production of “Ornithes” play (directed by S. Hatzakis, music by Minos Matsas).
He also contributed with sampling in theatre productions such as “Mana, Mitera, Mama” directed by S. Hatzakis (Veaki Theatre) and “Troades” (Theatre of Neos Kosmos).
In May 2010 he improvises live with both electronic and natural instruments for the dance theatre “Roes” for the Greek Choreographers’ Dance Festival.
Moreover Stefanos is involved with the making of sound design and music for tv-commercials, and short-films and as a member of the Tomako team, a visual productions group, he created sound design and soundtrack compositions for company presentations such as Nike and Heineken, as well as the audiovisual introductions of popular Greek artists live shows (Ploutarxos, Vertis).
Since 2007 Stefanos has been the main composer and producer of the band Zen Garden.

Integral is a whole consisting of David Rotter and Rafael Milatz. The German duo took their time to perfect their sound as for seven years they worked among the solitude of basements and bedrooms, heard only by themselves and their closest friends. Several albums were completed and discarded. Finally realizing that they would never be able to catch up with their own standards, they decided to go public in 2007, releasing under a name that fully suits their musical style.
Integral create songs rather than tracks; little stories that are complete within themselves, inviting the listener to a cinematic journey into their own subconscious. In their own words they attempt to describe their mission: “We believe that electronic music can sound very digital and still have a “human feel” to it. We try to make music that touches both the brain and the heart.” This target is perfectly met with their debut album ‘Rise‘. Even if the arrangements are sometimes complex, Integral manage to be understood on an intuitive level. Their music is at the same time desperate and hopeful, melancholic and heroic, painful and joyous. It expresses the deeply felt yearning most of us know all too well.
In 2008, Integral released their debut album 'Rise' on the U.S. label Tympanik Audio.

In the final chapter of his quasi-trilogy, Access To Arasaka’s ‘Geosynchron’ offers a full conclusion to what began earlier this year with the ‘Orbitus’ and ‘Aleph’ EPs. Us CBL fans have been pretty lucky recently; two albums in successive years, with Interloper in 2010 and Twentythree in 2011. But, it hasn’t always been so. With albums sometimes three years apart, this extended anticipation has left many-a CBL fan suffering for years on end. For many, that’s what makes their productions so special and for me, this mix even more so.

Not only are Daniel and Johannes cult heroes heralded by many ambient fans from across the world, but stumbling across any of their releases, or indeed insight into their workings is as rare as the sunshine on a Swedish winters day. Everything that floats out of their studio is quality and has been since their very first release on the ground-breaking Ultimae Records back in 2003.

How do you keep such a fan base in tune over such an extended period? (Damn it, I didn’t even ask that question below). Well, from my point of view… you set the standard for stunning ambient music, you keep raising it with each release and you make sure that every album you produce has the ability to envelope you in warm synthesizers and transport you to that welcoming but strangely isolated place. Daniel and Johannes have it nailed.

uncharted 3 drake's deception - OST - 2011

Developer Naughty Dog Game Director Justin Richmond describes the game as a brand new dynamic to the franchise:

"This is where the Drake’s Deception title really starts to come in. Uncharted 3 finds Nathan Drake searching for an ancient 16th century treasure, but he ends up being pulled in to an even bigger mystery filled with deceit, pitting him against a shadowy clandestine organization and the occult treachery of its cunning and ruthless leader. Marlowe is always trying to undermine Drake and getting him to do things he doesn’t want to do, it adds a brand new dynamic to the franchise."

The narrative opens with a quote T.E. Lawrence's Seven Pillars of Wisdom: "All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible. This I did." The plot revolves around the mystery of the Iram of the Pillars, an ancient city lost in the Rub' al Khali desert.

The story begins with Nathan "Nate" Drake (Nolan North) and Victor "Sully" Sullivan (Richard McGonagle) going to a meeting in a pub in England. They negotiate a trade with Talbot (Robin Atkin Downes), who offers a large sum of money in return for a ring that supposedly belonged to Sir Francis Drake. Nate discovers that the money is fake and takes the ring back, prompting Talbot to leave while his hired thugs move in. After fighting their way out, Nate and Sully emerge in an alleyway, where they are surrounded and subdued by Charlie Cutter (Graham McTavish), who appears to be the lead thug. They are then approached by Talbot's client, Katherine Marlowe (Rosalind Ayres), who steals Drake's ring. Nate attempts to go after her, but Cutter guns him and Sully down, seemingly killing them.

The story transitions into a flashback from 20 years earlier. A young Nathan Drake explores a museum in Cartegena, Colombia, in search of Sir Francis' ring, but is thrown out after guards suspect him of being a thief. Intrigued by the actions of a younger Victor Sullivan, who he does not know at this point, Nate follows Sully to a keymaker and pickpockets him, before returning to the museum. He steals the ring and a cipher disk that is unlocked by the ring, but before he can leave, he is caught by Marlowe, her henchmen and Sully, who was working for her. Nate is forced to hand over the disk, but flees with the ring. He is rescued from Marlowe's agents by Sully, who decides to act as a mentor to Nate.

Returning to the present day, it is revealed that the meeting was an elaborate set-up by Nate and Sully to get closer to Marlowe, with Cutter being an old friend of theirs. With the help of Chloe Frazer (Claudia Black), they trace Marlowe's car to a hidden library, where they manage to retrieve the cipher disk, as well as T.E. Lawrence's notebook and a map showing Francis Drake's secret voyage to Arabia, where he was commissioned by Queen Elizabeth I and her advisor John Dee to search for the lost city of Ubar. Using these items, Nate works out that clues to the city's location lie in Crusader crypts in a French chateau and a Syrian citadel.

The next day, Nate and Sully head to eastern France and locate the long abandoned chateau in a jungle. They search its interior, discovering a secret passage in John Dee's laboratory to the crypt and finding one half of an amulet in Sabean script. Nate manages to sketch it, but they are ambushed by Talbot and Marlowe's agents, who take the amulet. Nate and Sully are chased from the crypt by flesh-eating spiders and then barely manage to escape after Talbot's men set the chateau on fire. Fearing that Chloe and Cutter, who travelled to the Syrian citadel, may have been followed as well, the pair head for Syria. They meet up with Chloe and Cutter, who have learned that Marlowe is the head of an order dating back four centuries that seeks to gain power by exploiting the fears of their enemies. The group fight their way past Marlowe's agents to the second Crusader crypt and find the other half of the Sabean amulet, revealing the location of the next clue in Yemen. However, while trying to exit the citadel, Cutter is cornered by Marlowe and Talbot, forcing him to hand over the amulet piece. Trapped in a fire, Cutter jumps from a tower and breaks his leg from the fall. Nate, Sully and Chloe pick up Cutter and manage to escape in a stolen bus. Cutter makes Nate promise that he will stop Marlowe, while Chloe backs out, saying that the search for the lost city is not worth it.

Nate and Sully travel to Yemen and liase with Elena Fisher (Emily Rose), who tells Nate not to ask too much of Sully, whilst also helping them to locate the underground tomb where Sir Francis Drake left dire warnings to those who continue to search for the city of Ubar. The trio are then attacked by flesh-eating spiders and flee above ground, where Nate is shot with a dart containing hallucinogens. After stumbling away alone, Nate wakes up outside a café with Marlowe and Talbot. Marlowe recounts details of Nate's past as an orphan in a boarding school named after Francis Drake, insinuating that he has lied about his ancestry, which he does not deny, and trying to change his disposition towards Sully. In anger, Nate chases a fleeing Talbot through the streets, but is eventually knocked unconscious by an unknown assailant.

Nate reawakens inside a shipping container, where pirates hired by Marlowe interrogate him for information about Iram of the Pillars. The lead pirate claims to have captured Sully and leaves threatening to torture him. Nate manages to escape captivity and tracks the pirate through a dock to an enormous cargo ship, where he believes Sully is being held. He searches the ship, but is surrounded by pirates shortly before learning that they had not taken Sully hostage. In a desperate act, Nate blows a massive hole in the ship's hull, causing the entire vessel to capsize. He navigates the overturned ship and dives into the ocean, ultimately washing back onto shore. He is reunited with Elena, who informs him that Sully was captured by Marlowe's men and taken on a convoy into the Rub 'al Khali desert, but they may be able to rescue him if they stowaway on a cargo plane due to take off at dawn and deliver supplies to Marlowe's convoy.

The two of them infiltrate the airstrip, but as they near the runway, Nate leaves Elena behind, stating that this is extremely risky and he does not want to lose her. Nate manages to get on board the plane via the landing wheels as it takes off. He is soon discovered by a guard, who attempts to throw him out of the bay doors. Nate is forced to release the cargo from the plane, resulting in serious damage to the plane. Along with everybody else on board, Nate is pulled from the plane by an air vacuum, but is able to activate a parachute and descend safely. Nate lands close to the plane's wreckage in the middle of the desert.

After wandering the desert for days, suffering from heat exhaustion and severe thirst and experiencing mirages, Nate finally comes across a derelict settlement taken over by Marlowe's agents. He tries to fight his way out, but is heavily outnumbered. However, a troop of men on horseback, led by Salim (TJ Ramini), suddenly appear and ride to Nate's rescue. At the horsemen's encampment, Nate explains the English presence in the Rub 'al Khali desert. Salim tells him that the city of Ubar was cursed thousands of years ago by King Solomon and that if Marlowe finds it, they will all die. He agrees to help Nate and leads him to the convoy spotted by his scouts. Nate and Salim destroy the convoy and rescue Sully from the foremost vehicle. Salim then instructs Nate and Sully to follow him into a nearby sandstorm, but the pair lose him amidst the dust. They encounter more of Marlowe's men and realise that they have arrived at the gates of Ubar, the "Atlantis of the Sands".

Upon entering Ubar, Nate and Sully marvel at the breadth of the city before coming across a sophisticated water fountain. Nate drinks the water, then points out a solar eclipse, but Sully is suddenly shot in the back and killed by Talbot. Overcome by rage, Nate gives chase and has to fight more of Marlowe's man, who seem to have acquired magical abilities, such as engulfing themselves in flames and moving at impossible speeds. Nate continues to follow Talbot, but starts to experience a lucid dream, in which the environment is warped and his reflection moves independently from him. Nate eventually comes to his senses and resumes his pursuit of Talbot, when he finds Sully alive and in perfectly healthy condition.

The true mystery of what happened to the people of Ubar thousands of years ago becomes apparent: as Salim had explained, King Solomon had cast a brass talisman into the depths of the city. When it fell into the water, it began to taint the water with a powerful hallucinogenic agent. The people were subsequently driven mad, and civilisation within the city collapsed. Nate realises that the talisman is what Elizabeth I had sent Francis Drake to find, and what Marlowe was looking for now. Nate and Sully search the city and soon locate Marlowe, who is using a winch to pull the brass talisman from the water. Nate and Sully move in for an ambush, but Talbot knocks Sully into the water. Nate jumps in to rescue him, while at the same time destroying the winch. The explosion sets off a chain reaction throughout the entire city, causing the foundations to break apart. Nate and Sully attempt to escape, but run into Marlow and Talbot. They all fall as the tower they are in collapses, and Marlowe becomes trapped in quicksand. She shouts to Nate that if he wants the name of Drake, he must earn it, spurring Nate to try and save her. Alas, he fails, and Marlowe is left to drown in the sand, taking Drake's ring with her. Nate and Sully continue to head for the gates as the city crumbles around them. However, they are blocked by Talbot, who tries to kill them with a knife. Nate finally guns him down, shortly before Salim rides in on his horse and leads them to safety. The three of them are then seen in the distance, watching as the city is completely destroyed.

Nate and Sully return back to Yemen where Sully explains about much Nate is the Son he never had. He then gives back Nate's Engagement Ring and turns to see Elena joining them. He reveals the ring on his hand and how much she means to him and the two embrace each other, ready to start a hopeful future together. Joining Sully he reveals to them his new Sea Plane and how they are going to travel on that back home.

Uncharted 2 Among Thieves - OST - 2009

The narrative opens with a quote attributed to Marco Polo, "I did not tell half of what I saw, for I knew I would not be believed." The plot revolves around the doomed voyage home of Marco Polo from China in 1292. After spending almost 20 years in the court of the Mongol Emperor Kublai Khan, Marco Polo departed with fourteen ships and over six hundred passengers – but when he arrived at Persia a year and a half later, only one ship and eighteen passengers remained. Polo never revealed what had happened to the lost ships.

The story begins in medias res, with a wounded Nathan "Nate" Drake (Nolan North) waking up to find himself in a train hanging off a cliff. Through flashbacks, it is revealed that former associate Harry Flynn (Steve Valentine) and old girlfriend Chloe Frazer (Claudia Black) approached him with a job to steal a Mongolian oil lamp from an Istanbul museum. Nate accepts the job when he learns that the lamp may lead to the treasure of Marco Polo's lost fleet. Harry and Drake acquire the lamp, which contains a map showing that the lost fleet had been transporting the Cintamani Stone from the mythical city of Shambhala (better known as Shangri-La) before being thrown ashore in Borneo by a tsunami. Taking the map, Flynn double-crosses Drake, who is arrested and imprisoned for three months. Chloe, who claims to have had no knowledge of Flynn's treachery, asks for the help of Drake's friend Victor "Sully" Sullivan (Richard McGonagle) to secure his release.
Drake climbs a hotel in Nepal as he attempts to locate a temple.

Nate and Sully follow Flynn and his boss Zoran Lazarevic (Graham McTavish), a Serbian war criminal who is widely thought to be dead, to Borneo. With the help of Chloe working within Lazarevic's camp as a mole, they discover that the lost fleet never actually possessed the Cintamani Stone. They locate a tomb containing the bodies of Polo's passengers, as well as a Tibetan phurba and a letter from Polo saying that the next clue is in Kathmandu, Nepal in a temple. Flynn and his men appear in the tomb soon after and take the letter, while Nate and Sully escape by jumping off a cliff into a river.

While Sullivan decides that the quest is too risky, Nate and Chloe head to Nepal, finding conflict as Lazarevic's mercenary army ravages the city looking for the right temple. After surmising that the temple they are looking for is adorned with one of the symbols on the phurba, the couple survey the area from the rooftop of a local hotel, finding its location.

En route to the temple, the pair runs into Elena Fisher (Emily Rose) and her cameraman Jeff (Gregory Myhre), who are tracking down Lazarevic to prove he is still alive. The four reach the temple and discover that the stone and Shambhala are in the Himalayas. As they are about to leave, the group is ambushed, and Jeff is shot by one of Lazarevic's men. Despite Chloe's insistence to leave Jeff behind, the group pushes on until they are caught. Chloe reluctantly pulls her gun on Nate to protect her "cover", while Lazarevic executes Jeff. While Lazarevic and Chloe leave for the train yard, Nate and Elena manage to escape just as Flynn is about to kill them. The couple manages to catch up with Lazarevic's train on a stolen jeep. Nate boards the train and finds Chloe, who is upset about Nate having taken Elena and Jeff along earlier and refuses to leave with him. As the two argue, Flynn arrives and shoots Nate in the abdomen. With no other option, Nate shoots a pile of propane tanks, killing Flynn's men and sending Nate's half of the train over a steep cliff.

Returning to where the game began, Nate escapes the train and travels through a snow storm, recovering the phurba among the wreckage before falling unconscious. He awakens in a Tibetan village, where he is reunited with Elena and is introduced to a German man named Karl Schäfer (Rene Auberjonois). Schäfer tells Nate that the phurba is the key to finding Shambhala, but Nate tells him he is no longer interested. To convince him otherwise, Schäfer sends Nate and the village leader, Tenzin (Robin Atkin Downes), to find the remains of the men in his expedition, who were looking for Shambhala and the stone 70 years earlier. Traveling through a series of caves to an ancient temple filled with yeti-like creatures, Nate and Tenzin discover that Schäfer's men were SS members on an Ahnenerbe expedition, and that he had killed them to protect the world from the power of the stone. They return to find Lazarevic's men attacking the village. After securing the village, Nate and Elena find out that Schäfer has been kidnapped along with the phurba. They then track Lazarevic's convoy to an abandoned monastery. The two locate a mortally wounded Schäfer, who tells Nate that he must destroy the Cintamani Stone. Schäfer then succumbs to his wounds and dies.

Nate locates Chloe, who surrenders the phurba after he promises to take Lazarevic down. Nate and Elena use the phurba to unlock the secret passage to Shambhala underneath the monastery, but Lazarevic corners them and forces Nate to open the gate. When the gate opens the group is attacked by the monsters from the ice caves, but Lazarevic manages to kill them. It is then revealed that they are actually the human Guardians of Shambhala, powered by the Cintamani stone and dressed like monsters to scare off anyone who trespasses in the city. Just as Lazarevic prepares to kill Elena and Nate, another wave of Guardians attacks, which allows them and Chloe (whose cover has been blown) to escape.

Making their way to the top of the central temple, Nate discovers that the Cintamani stone is in fact a giant amber of petrified blue resin embedded in a giant tree of life. The true worth of Shambhala is the blue sap of the tree, which when ingested makes the drinker nearly invincible. As they prepare to go after Lazarevic, a wounded Flynn arrives and detonates a grenade, killing himself and seriously wounding Elena. Nate leaves Elena in Chloe's care and sets off to confront Lazarevic at the tree. Nate arrives just as Lazarevic drinks the tree's sap, which renders him nearly indestructible and heals his old wounds and scars. Detonating the pockets of explosive resin in the tree with his weapons, Nate defeats Lazarevic and leaves him to be killed by the Guardians. Nate reunites with Chloe and Elena and they escape the city as a series of explosions begins to destroy Shambhala.

Back in the village, Chloe asks Nate if he loves Elena, which he does not deny. Chloe bids Nate goodbye as Sully leads a recovering Elena over to him. While Sully chases after Chloe, Elena and Nate pay their respects at Schäfer's grave before embracing. They share a kiss and together they walk over to the edge of a cliff and watch the sun set behind the mountains.

Uncharted drake's fortune - OST - 2007

The game opens with Nathan "Nate" Drake (voiced by Nolan North) recovering the coffin of Elizabethan explorer Sir Francis Drake from the ocean floor. Nate claims to be a descendant of Sir Francis, and has inherited a ring with the coordinates of the expedition inscribed on it. The expedition is funded by journalist Elena Fisher (Emily Rose), who is there to record the events for a documentary. When they open the coffin, however, they find out that it is empty except for a diary written by Sir Francis, showing that Sir Francis faked his death as Nate has always suspected. A band of pirates who have been tracking Nate then suddenly appear and destroy their boat, but the pair are rescued by Nate's partner Victor "Sully" Sullivan (Richard McGonagle).

After returning to shore, Nate and Sully study the diary and uncover information that points to the location of El Dorado, the fabled city of gold, in the Amazon. Fearing that Elena's publishing the documentary would attract rivals, Sully and Nate decide to ditch Elena in the dock and travel to the Amazon on their own. They find the ruins of an ancient South American civilization, and clues that El Dorado is in fact a large gold statue instead of a golden city, and that it has been removed by the Spaniards long ago. Searching further, Nate and Sully discover a long-abandoned German U-boat stuck in the Amazon river containing its dead crew, who appear to have been mauled to death, Spanish gold coins with an unknown mint stamp, and a missing page from Sir Francis Drake's diary that points to a southern tropic island where the Spaniards have likely taken the statue.

Before they can leave the Amazon, Nate and Sully are accosted by Gabriel Roman (Simon Templeman), a competitive treasure hunter who has hired the services of mercenaries led by Atoq Navarro (Robin Atkin Downes), Roman's lieutenant and an archaeologist with knowledge of the statue. The two learned about Nate's quest to find El Dorado when Sully, who owes Roman money, divulged to them earlier that he was onto something. Nate refuses to help Roman, who then shoots Sully in the chest. As Nate struggles with Navarro, the U-boat explodes from a torpedo Nate accidentally armed earlier. Nate uses the chaos to escape into the forest, and is subsequently rescued by Elena. The two then fly off in Sully's plane to the Pacific Island shown on the missing page of Sir Francis' diary.

As their plane approaches the island of UK 2642 it is shot down and the two become separated. Nate works his way to a fort where he spots Elena's parachute, but he is unable to find her. He continues into the fort, where he finds a message from Sir Francis stating that he had gone to the fort's tower. Upon arriving there, he is captured by the pirates from the beginning of the game, who are revealed to be led by Eddy Raja (James Sie), an old rival of his. Eddy demands that Nate assist him in finding the treasure, but Nate manages to escape with the help of Elena. The two work their way through a long-abandoned port city and discover, through a log book in its custom house, that the statue was moved further inland. Elena then spots the supposedly dead Sully working with Roman and Navarro, heading north, and the pair decides to follow him to the monastery. While heading there, Elena is forced to drop her camera to save herself. There, they locate hidden passages and rescue Sully, who survived Roman's shot earlier thanks to Drake's diary blocking the bullet, and decided to play along with his captors.

Nate and Elena find a series of maze-like passages below the monastery. In these tunnels, Nate overhears an argument between Roman, Navarro, and Eddy, who has also been hired by Roman to aid in the capture of Nate and in the security of the island. Roman doubts Eddy's abilities to do his job further and ignores his superstitious claim that something cursed on the island is killing his men. Roman dismisses Eddy and his crew, angering Eddy, who draws his gun but is stopped by Navarro. Eddy storms off, cursing.

Traveling through more of the underground tunnels, Nate and Elena find a passage leading to an empty treasure vault in which they find Sir Francis Drake's body, who appears to have died on the island in a vain effort searching for the treasure. Seeing the seemingly fruitless quest of Sir Francis, a saddened Nate leaves his ring behind on Drake's body. Before they move on, they encounter Eddy running for his life, chased by mutated humans possessing incredible speed and strength. Nate and Eddy work together briefly to fight off the creatures, but Eddy is later dragged into a hole by one of the monsters after being bitten on the throat and killed. Nate and Elena escape to an abandoned German submarine base, but in order to move on Nate has to venture out to the generator room to restore the power.

During his exploration, he discovers that the Germans had sought the statue during World War II but they, like the Spaniards before them, learned that the statue was cursed and became mutated; Nate realizes the creatures attacking them are the descendants of the mutated Germans and Spaniards. Sir Francis, having discovered the statue's true power, was actually trying to keep it on the island, and that he managed to destroy any way for the statue to be transported off the island before he too was killed by the mutants.

Nate attempts to return to Elena, but finds she has been taken hostage by Roman and Navarro. As Nate follows them, he reunites with Sully outside the monastery. Fighting through Roman's forces, Nate and Sully eventually reach Roman, who has located the statue. As they arrive, they are captured at gunpoint by Roman's mercenaries. Watching, with the statue of El Dorado now before them, Navarro urges Roman to open the statue, but as soon as he does, Roman inhales the mutagenic dust from a mummy rotting within and begins to mutate into the same type of creature the Germans and Spaniards were turned into many years ago. The transformed Roman charges at Navarro but is shot and killed. Planning all along to steal the statue and sell the mutagen as a weapon to the highest bidder, Navarro has the statue lifted out by a helicopter and takes a captive Elena as well while his mercenaries are attacked by the mutants. Nate manages to jump onto the net the statue is in just before the helicopter has left. As Elena struggles vigorously inside the helicopter, the gunman, who has noticed Nate and is about to shoot him, is kicked out of the helicopter. As the gunman is falling out, he begins firing his M4, inadvertantly killing the pilot, and sending the helicopter (and Nate) to crash land onto Roman's freighter.

A final showdown breaks out between Nate and Navarro and his mercenaries, with Nate, after a few gunfights with Navarro's mercenaries, prevailing over Navarro in a fistfight, knocking him unconscious. As Nate goes to the crashed helicopter and tends to the injured Elena lying inside, Navarro regains consciousness and prepares to kill them both with his shotgun. Elena warns Nate, who pushes the helicopter off the tanker. Navarro's foot gets tangled up with the rope that ties the statue to the helicopter, and the falling helicopter drags both Navarro and the statue into the ocean.

Elena returns the ring that Nate left behind earlier and the two lean in to kiss, but they are interrupted by Sully, who has escaped the island on a small speedboat, taking several boxes of treasure from a few dead pirates with him. Elena reminds Nate that because she has lost her camera, he still owes her a story. As the boat sails towards the horizon, Nate assures her "I'm good for it."

Behind Synergic are Torgen Anton and Bennjamin Neiss from Germany...
.. who started their journey in the trance-world in 1998. Both with a background in the heavy metal band 'Art Of Suffering', but their new-found love for psychedelic trance soon took over completely, and so the Synergic project was born.
With their music they want to convey uplifting feelings that express dreams, hopes and wishes. After years of trial, error, dancing, listening, getting inspired and inspiring others, they have finally completed their debut album 'Liquid Depth', which contains 9 uplifting psychedelic trance-tunes. Staying clear of many current-day overused trends, the two former heavy metal musicians have created a symbiosis of melodic and emotional music for the body, spirit and soul.
Some tracks, like 'Ujulala' and 'There Is Nothing Wrong' are on the groovy side, while others, such as 'Liquid Depth' and 'Delusion Red' are more melodious and intense.
In general the bass-lines are pumping, intense and dance-friendly, yet never stressful, and the dreamy sound-layers and textures are weaved in and out in a very progressive and hypnotic process. Add to that some intelligent twists and breaks, as well as some euphoric hints of organic, old-school psytrance, and you have an album perfectly suited for those magical hours where everything feels right. Our new interactive world is a huge opportunity to inspire, be inspired and spread thoughts and ideas, which will hopefully lead to a Synergic effect resulting in a better world. With their music, Synergic hopes to play a small part in making a positive change in the world. Their first step is 'Liquid Depth'.

We do not hide that our main inspiration in creating the material for the upcoming album Mimesis is Riese secret military complex, located near Waldenburg (now Walbrzych / Poland) in Eulengebirge (now Gory Sowie), underground Fuerstenstein (now Zamek Ksiaz) and a whole bunch of unexplained details, legends, myths and conjectures related to issues of Riese.
The album is dedicated to those who were murdered during the construction of the Riese Complex, particularly to the KL Gross-Rosen prisoners and also to the scientists and enthusiasts who are constantly trying to convey their passion and knowledge to others.

Native Radio - Macula - 2011

Their organic, rolling and deeply mystical sound made Native Radio one of the showpieces of German Progressive Trance in the hayday of this style, at the beginning of the 21st century.
Their live sets were highly applauded at all big festivals and parties throughout Europe. Since 2005 it got more and more quiet around the project, which did not mean its end, as turns out now. Native Radio is back with another album that represents a style evolution. Interestingly, it became neither Dark Psy nor Nu School Progressive.
During the past years Bastian Hoffmann focussed on his studies in film music composition. Thus also his productions became more soulful, turning to Downbeat and Trip Hop. This is one of factors for the style change. The other, is the instrument of the second project member, Jens Guttbier. Being a guitarist of many years with a band background, he now brings in more song-orientated ideas and sounds. 'We became more mature during the past years', Bastian describes the new style of Native Radio.
'For the album we wanted to create something special. A mix of Progressive and Psy Trance, harmonic melodies and tracks with emphasis on the guitar sounds. And in fact this is a pretty good description of what awaits the listeners on the new album 'Macula'. The deep, rolling bass structures are clearly reminiscent of the classic Native Radio sound and create a touch of oldschool atmosphere. But the guitar adds something new, a very warm, sunny and dreamy feeling. Sometimes, even a pinch of frisky rock music!

MIC's work, Timenvu, presents ten extended pieces which explore the furrowed yet rich field of hypnotic psybient with over 120 minutes of music.

Recorded between August 2008 and May 2011, the work contains atmospheric pieces which seek to approximate a "journey of discovery".
Timenvu opens with "Evolution," a strong piece which uses a mildly ethereal melody and spaces between sounds to achieve a very pleasing effect.
The rest of the album flows through deep ambient gems, such as "Visite Champêtre" and "Conception", and through songs with more live-recorded instruments like the clarinet, such as "Vagabondage" and "Souffle Au Printemps".
All in all, MIC's album flows effortlessly over chilled beats, greasy acidic basslines, sharp synth melodies and the like to provide us with a very good, proper follow up to "Vers Luisant" track released on Hadra Records over three years ago.

1984 saw Alex Scheffer entering the world of machines. Aged 10 he received his first machine from his mother and father, respectively pianist and drummer, a Juno 106 Roland. At that time, student at the Conservatoire, he started looking at LFOs and filters. His favourite instruments remain keyboards and especially the piano, an instrument which he will get back to at 13 when entering the Jazz section at the Conservatoire of Chamb‚ry (73). His growing interest for machines and electronic music enticed him to listen to artists such as Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd, John Cage,Peter Gabriel.
Convinced that a fusion of styles is fundamental, Alex decided at 16 to look into Pop-Electro fusion. He took part in several bands as keyboard player and
arranger, his main function being to mingle and mix electronic sounds into Pop-Rock atmospheres. After his Acoustic Engineer studies, Alex definitely made a turn towards electronic music. While collaborating with different directors he got to carry out all types of orders. Original soundtracks for dvertising, short films, catwalk and even contemporary dance for which he wrote more than an hour of music.

Tales Of The Coin Spinner is the third full-length downtempo and ambient album by Easily Embarrassed, a Dutch group formed by brothers Jeffrey and Nick van der Schilden working alongside Peter Spaargaren. Since 2006 they have been exploring the emotional depths of electronic music, drawing inspiration from a wide variety of retro and contemporary styles while crafting their own distinct sound. Now releasing independently on their own EE Records imprint, Easily Embarrassed invites music lovers everywhere to experience the magic and enchantment of their latest symphonic fable. Included in the release is a short introduction to set the mood, reprinted here in full:

Deep in the heart of the forest, a lonely house rests hidden away from sight. Its neglected state might make it seem as though it were abandoned, but it is home to an old man and a jack-in-the-box. This toy, tattered by age, was once animated by magic, and is now a living companion to the man whom people call “the coin spinner.”

Every night, without fail, a girl wanders to the depths of the forest to visit. Tonight as she approaches the old house, its broken roof illuminated blue by the light of the full moon; she felt as she always did, as if it were from a dream. It seems so close but also so far. As always, the door was left unlocked for her, and as she slowly opens it, a loud creak breaks the silence.

Upon hearing the sound, Jester jumps out of his box and hurries to the door to welcome her. The old man remains at the table spinning his coins, completely entranced by the spinning motion and oblivious to the girl in the doorway. She picks up the little jester toy and embraces it, while closing the door. Walking towards his cube, a barely audible lullaby escapes her lips. She lowers him gently down into the box and coaxes him to sleep with her soft voice. Then, she looks up at the old man and silently watches him as he spins his coins over and over.

Tonight, she suddenly asks him, “What are you looking for, old man?” His hypnotic stare breaks, and his eyes roll towards the girl. “The Truth,” he mumbles in a low voice. “Do you seek it too, little princess?” She shrugs. Looking up through a hole in the roof her big, green eyes gaze up at the bright, blue moon. “Are the moon people still watching us?” The man spins his coin again and waits for it to fall onto one of its sides. The jester, apparently still awake, calls “Heads,” and indeed it is as he said. The coin spinner smiles. “Sorry princess, no tales for you tonight!”

As he starts spinning his coin again, a tear rolls down the girl’s cheek. “Could you please continue the story about the triplets?” she asks with a jittery voice. He heaves a deep sigh and replies, “Oh… Alright.” To his right two books lay on the table and picks up one, blowing off the dust, revealing an elegantly engraved title: “the little match sister” in gold lettering.

He opens the book, and thus the story continues…

Warp Technique - Make Animals Happy - 2008

Sounding like a double-dipped Trentemoller, Warp Technique weave divergent genres into their psychedelic stew: the album opens with the eerie Softly Spoken Spell, full of sounds from an ambient jungle; Nowhere Dub lulls one into a trance with its seductive bass and soothing synths before the bassline heaven of Make Animals Happy kicks in.

Nightbreak steps up the pace, progressing from a downbeat intro into a pulsating beast, complete with old school synth riffs - definitely one for the dancefloor; Wonderland Dub kicks back a gear, in a delightfully bass fuelled skanking kind of way, before History of Dreams and Whale Salt Dog (how do they come up with these names?!) resume the journey to another world, eventually arriving at the epic Arab Star, an organic odyssey of progressive beats, 'world'ly samples and psychedelic motifs.
Solid State takes an inspirational speech by Martin Luther King, and weaves it into chunky breakbeats and cheeky acid lines, while Warp Dub 5 and Valley of Kodama prepare for the unfortunate return to reality - the album is over
All in all, an excellent adventure, full of innovation and contrast, with never a dull moment.

Panta Deus is a two part compilation issued in celebration of Psytrance.pl‘s 10th anniversary containing music made solely by Polish artists. It was compiled by Templar, one of the website’s creators and editors, as a gift to all visitors and a confirmation of the old saying, “it’s good because it’s Polish”. As far as the musical content is concerned, the compilation was prepared as a sort of psytrance party and is separated into two themed parts: Carpe Noctem and Carpe Diem, both of which are represented by the music they contain. You will hear colourful sounds belonging to the diverse genre of psychedelic trance as well as chill out tracks. Their authors are both well known and experienced, as well as new, promising artists.
